Я хорошо помню свой первый - и пока единственный - сезон Aurora Fashion Week, который я посетила в качестве журналиста. Тогда, в мае 2011-го, на подиум Манежа модели выходили в комплектах, созданных Александром Тереховым, Леной Васильевой, Анастасией Романцовой (марка a'la Russe), Александром Арнгольдтом, Татьяной Парфёновой, Эннио Капазой (C'N'C Costume National), Марком Фастом.
Дефиле были вечером, однако я поднималась ни свет ни заря, чтобы успеть на лекции-встречи с дизайнерами Маурицио Модикой и Пьерфранческо Джильотти (Frankie Morello), стритстайл-фотографом Иваном Родиком (Facehunter), блогером Андреем Аболенкиным и другими.
Aurora Fashion Week была изматывающей, изнуряющей, эмоционально истощающей - но она принесла множество интересных знакомств, позволила вживую увидеть коллекции самых разных дизайнеров, подарила возможность сделать несколько интересных интервью с непосредственными участниками событий.
Совсем скоро - во второй половине апреля - AFW в седьмой раз откроет двери. Показы состоятся в залах Музея Российской Академии Художеств, чей фасад обращён к величественно-спокойной Неве. Свои коллекции на главной петербургской Неделе Моды планируют представить марка Pirosmani, Татьяна Парфёнова и Игорь Чапурин, Леонид Алексеев и меховых дел мастер Игорь Гуляев. I remember my first - and so far the only one - Aurora Fashion Week season, which I attended as a journalist. Back then in May 2011 models were walking down the runway in the outfits created by Alexander Terekhov, Lena Vasilyeva, Anastasia Romantsova (a'la Russe), Alexander Arngoldt, Tatiana Parfionova, Ennio Capasa (C'N'C Costume National), Mark Fast.
The shows were scheduled for the evening, but I had to wake up early in the morning in order to be in time for the lectures and meetings with designers Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti (Frankie Morello), streetstyle photographer Yvan Rodic (Facehunter), well-known Russian fashion blogger Andrey Abolenkin and others.
Aurora Fashion Week was intense, exhausting, emotionally draining - but it was oh so worth it. It gave me a chance to meet some wonderful people, to see the collections in person, to conduct some interesting interviews.
In less than a month the seventh season of Aurora Fashion Week will be held in St. Petersburg. The shows will take place in the halls of the Museum of Russian Academy of Fine Arts, which is located on the banks of Neva river. Pirosmani, Tatiana Parfionova and Igor Chapurin, Leonid Alexeev and fur master Igor Gulyaev are among those who plan to show their collections at AFW.
